Best scuba diving in Costa Rica

Costa Rica has different and well defined scuba diving sites. The most known and popular is Cocos Island, or Isla del Coco. This amazing site is considered to be among the world`s top 10 dive sites, offering the diver amazing visibility, vast schools of fish , schools of hammerhead sharks and much much more. Second in line are the Cano Island in the South Pacific off the coast of Osa Peninsula and Corcovado. Cano normally has a great visibility and abundant fish and corals. Murcielago Islands off the coasts of Santa Rosa National Park and Santa Elena Peninsula also ranks in number 2. This beautiful set of islands has incredible visibility up to 100 feet, and a vast variety of fish and creatures, corals, bull sharks and much more. Other sites include the Cahuita Coral Reef on the Caribbean, Catalina Islands, Tortuga Island, and plenty of local sites along the Pacific Coast.
